A new page on this blog.In this one I'll talked about ways of saving more gas and getting a better mpg.Below you will see a widget that will show gas prices and It'll hopefully update you as the gas prices rise and get lower too.But for now ways that you can saved more on gas.I've ten of them for now.
1. Ride pool If you have a big enough car to hauled people around In and you are going to the same place as them or close to where they are going.If 10 ten people rides with you and gives you like five bucks each your car will get a complete fill up each time you gets gas.
2.If you lived close to where you work at walked to work.It'll saved you a lot on gas and allows you to saved more money.It's a good way to excised too.
3.Look for car pooling places to get a ride to and from the places.
4.Always get the cheapest gas prices too.Like get a Kroger plus card.You can you can used the points to get up to a buck off with.
5.Checked out the local board where you work at to see If they offered a shutter bus service.Some places do that.
6.Fill up after the sun Is down.It does seem to give you more gas for your buck.
7. If you can afford a hybrid then go green.We'll all be driving around In these soon enough anyway.
8.Look for free gas cards online.There are some websites that are giving away free gas cards.
9.Use a bike to get back and forth from work.It's great for the legs and you get a free workout too.
10.Only drive If you can't walk to where you have to go.

Rising gas prices.
Yep gas Is up to 3.39 a gallon here.Enough Is enough.If we don't do anything we won't be able to afford the gas to drive with.It's time to take a stand.If everyone would stopped buying gas on 1 day or 2 days out of the week.They would see that that the people are getting fed up with It.Those 1 or 2 days would cut Into their pocket and they would lose money.Instead we take It and keep coming back for more abused and used.Anyone that sees this needs to stopped buying gas on Wednesdays and Fridays.Passed It around,lets start a revolution.Lets show show the gas station that we'll fight back.Lets show them how truly stupid their gas gouging Is.After all do you wanna see the day that we have to parked our cars because we have no money for gas.If we don't take a stand now,It's only gonna get worst.And thinking It won't make a difference If we don't buy gas on those 1 or 2 days.Well you wrong,because that will be money they don't have that day to bank.So stand up for yourself and let your actions be your voice.Let It be the force that stopped the tyrants In their path.

Well gas went up to another 10 cent more bringing It to 3.49 as of march 2 of 2011,no Ideal of how much It Is today I'll updated It although.But do you see a trend?It's climbing more and more each day that we don't do anything about It.This should be your wake up call,we need to take a stand and we need to do It now.Do what I asked In the blog and you will see,we do have the power to stopped It.We do have the power to make them take notice.We do have the power to lower It,but as long as we sit on our butts and take It.We won't see cheaper gas anytime soon,I'm taking a stand but no one else seem to be wanting to even try It.I made this blog because I wanted to lower the gas prices,And I'll continued to blog the everyday cost of gas each day.But I can't do It alone,I need my supporters to support me too.This Is our chance to do something for our future.So everyone needs to step up to bat,and drive that ball home.Home to the feds that we aren't gonna take It anymore.That we are stronger then them.Well will post more later on.But onto my day.
Well a update on the price of gas,It's up to 3.59 a gallon now.It's not gonna go down anytime soon too.We need to take our stand or we gonna continued to get pushed around.High gas prices effect even those of us that don't drives around.It pushes the prices up on everything we do.The prices on our food that we buy our effected by the hikes In gas price too.Marked my word on that too,police and firefighters have to play for their gas too.I can see the the possible effect of rising gas prices everywhere I go.Anywhere that depends on gas to transport their stuff will be effected by the high prices of gas.What where It take to get everyone working together to fight this battle.We need to open our eyes and take a stand to fight this before It gets even higher.
Is It gonna take something really bad to happen to open everyone eyes as to the bad effect of this.A case scenario right here,whats gonna happened when the police and firefighters gonna have to decide which calls they take,due to high gas prices cutting Into their budgets.You might think It can't happened but I assured you It can happened.And then we'll all be hanging our heads down low In disgust over It.Come on people get mad about It,voice your opinions and be heard.If this blog gets enough comments I'll find a way to get It to the white house for the president to see.But I can't do It alone.I need my backers to back me.united we stand,divided we fall. TIPS ON PUMPING GAS
I don't know what you guys are paying for gasoline.... but here in California we are paying up to $3.75 to $4.10 per gallon. My line of work is in petroleum for about 31 years now, so here are some tricks to get more of your money's worth for every gallon:
Here at the Kinder Morgan Pipeline where I work in San Jose , CA we deliver about 4 million gallons in a 24-hour period through the pipeline.. One day is diesel the next day is jet fuel, and gasoline, regular and premium grades. We have 34-storage tanks here with a total capacity of 16,800,000 gallons.
Only buy or fill up your car or truck in the early morning when the ground temperature is still cold. Remember that all service stations have their storage tanks buried below ground. The colder the ground the more dense the gasoline, when it gets warmer gasoline expands, so buying in the afternoon or in the evening....your gallon is not exactly a gallon. In the petroleum business, the specific gravity and the temperature of the gasoline, diesel and jet fuel, ethanol and other petroleum products plays an important role.
A 1-degree rise in temperature is a big deal for this business. But the service stations do not have temperature compensation at the pumps.
When you're filling up do not squeeze the trigger of the nozzle to a fast mode If you look you will see that the trigger has three (3) stages: low, middle, and high. You should be pumping on low mode, thereby minimizing the vapors that are created while you are pumping. All hoses at the pump have a vapor return. If you are pumping on the fast rate, some of the liquid that goes to your tank becomes vapor. Those vapors are being sucked up and back into the underground storage tank so you're getting less worth for your money.
One of the most important tips is to fill up when your gas tank is HALF FULL. The reason for this is the more gas you have in your tank the less air occupying its empty space. Gasoline evaporates faster than you can imagine. Gasoline storage tanks have an internal floating roof. This roof serves as zero clearance between the gas and the atmosphere, so it minimizes the evaporation. Unlike service stations, here where I work, every truck that we load is temperature compensated so that every gallon is actually the exact amount.
Another reminder, if there is a gasoline truck pumping into the storage tanks when you stop to buy gas, DO NOT fill up; most likely the gasoline is being stirred up as the gas is being delivered, and you might pick up some of the dirt that normally settles on the bottom.
To have an impact, we need to reach literally millions of gas buyers. It's really simple to do.
I'm sending this note to about thirty people. If each of you send it to at least ten more (30 x 10 = 300)...and those 300 send it to at least ten more (300 x 10 = 3,000) and so on, by the time the message reaches the sixth generation of people, we will have reached over THREE MILLION consumers !!!!!!! If those three million get excited and pass this on to ten friends each, then 30 million people will have been contacted!
If It goes one level further, you guessed it..... THREE HUNDRED MILLION PEOPLE!!!
Again, all you have to do is send this to 10 people. How long would it take?
